Our Pastor

Pastor Kelly Harvell serves half time at Bath UMC and half time at New Harbor UMC.

Pastor Kelly has a deep love of prayer and scripture. She enjoys many styles of prayer from the very traditional to the very artistic to the physically active.

She also enjoys art journaling, singing, piecing quilt tops (but not necessarily finishing them), Mechuwana, animals of all types, hearing people's stories... and more.

Pastor Kelly has a black Labrador, Benny,  who comes for office hours on Tuesdays but due to his new issues with arthritis he no longer attends church services.

Our Lay Leader

Rian Lewis is our Bath United Methodist Church Lay Leader. The lay leader is the primary representative and role model of Christian discipleship and faith lived out in the church and in daily life. The lay leader works with the pastor to fulfill the mission and vision of the congregation.  Every new lay leader brings unique gifts to the congregation; Rian is especially gifted as a musician and regularly leads worship music on guitar, bass and keyboard.  Rian also serves as a supply preacher when the pastor is on vacation. Rian lives with his wife, Cheryl in Woolwich.

 

Staff

Julie Ramsey, Secretary

Julie has served as the church secretary since 2010. She manages the administrative work of the church such as mailings, worship bulletins, church email, calendar and database. Julie's office hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9am-Noon and is happy to help any way she can.
